Fiona Blake — Painter & Ceramicist, Gold Coast
I paint and make ceramics from my studio in Coolangatta, on the southern Gold Coast. I work in watercolour, acrylic, oil and pencil, and I hand-build and fire my own ceramics. Born in Papua New Guinea to Australian and PNG parents and raised in Brisbane, I keep coming back to the light and colour of the tropics — and to the people in them.
